DJ RARRI - German DJ and producer with many alter egos, each connected to different genres. He is the head of the label Collapse cult an Industrial & Hardtechno label from Munich.
What is your favorite music gender?
Most of the time I listen to trap and techno
What is your favorite song?
My favorite song right now is probably by Yeat „Split“
Why did you start DJing or producing?
I started DJing because when I was partying a lot of years ago I felt like I would have a better song selection than some DJ‘s I saw live and I wanted to perform my sets in front of a crowd. I started producing only a few months ago because I‘ve been DJing for so long and wanted to put my ideas and creativity into music. It has always been a dream of mine to release some music everyone can listen to. It feels like showing a piece of yourself to the whole world.
What is your inspiration?
My inspiration comes from metal music, anime, and dark times in life. Whenever you drop into a hole you got to come up with new ideas to keep going.
Do you have more alter egos? And what are their names?
I make hard/industrial techno music as „denisloathe“ and I make a trap by the name „dean2“.
Can you describe your label? What do you play? Where are you located?
My label is called „Collapse Cult“. I usually play hard -and industrial techno but I also enjoy playing Ghetto House. For unlikebrand‘s specific events, I will play Ghetto House which I like more for parties to dance and have fun. I’m located in Munich, the hometown in which I was born.
Your funniest story from the party?
There are too many stories cause I‘m always with the labels boys and we do lots of stupid shit on the train going to gigs and also at the gigs. People do hilarious shit there too so it‘s always fun.
Your cringiest story some event?
When I was playing a guy was holding his hand towards me during half of the set. When I finished I thought he wanted to shake hands. When I was reaching out with my hand to shake hands with him he took his hand away. Everyone saw it and they all keep reminding me of that moment.
